Using a broad mix of models from young to old, Miuccia Prada created a fantastically sound collection that wowed the audience not only with the clothing, but with the models who wore them. As you can see above, Gary Oldman, actor, tapered off the show which the audience loved. Along with Oldman was the likes of Emile Hirsch, Adrian Brody, Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe, Garrett Hedlund, and Timothy Roth; all actors. Aside from the star studded models, the collection was sound with military inspiration, classic 1940’s tailoring, a few hints of eclectic prints, and a Prada collection can’t be without a new style of footwear; in this case it was simple oxfords with attached rubber galoshes. Funny enough, I actually sketched a pair just like these three months ago; Miuccia just beat me to it. Along with the aforementioned pieces, we see plenty of chest pins, topcoats, three piece suits, pinstripes, and even what I would call the smoking jacket of belted trenches. Another great collection by Miuccia Prada, and one that had great showmanship. Check out the full show on Style.com.
